Growing up on the tough streets of SouthWest Philly, Mont’s story is a classic tale of the hard knock life. He started using music as an escape at the age of five and wrote his first song at the age of eight. Since then, he has paired up with a number of fellow Philly musicians on their grind, but ultimately decided to pursue music on his own. He’s been able to release a number of songs that are popular in West Philly, North Philly, Southwest Philly and Upper Darby including “I Should Be Signed” and “Lambo Luv” featuring Tash Money. The recent death of his beloved father, who encouraged him to pursue his music career seriously, inspired him to write and record “I Need You.” Since then he's recorded songs such as "Neva Cuffem" which is going crazy when he's out performing this song and the song that everybody wants to hear is called "What's love" Mont’s music is hard enough to meet the high expectations of hip hop heads and smooth enough to satisfy the ladies. His style is a mixture between Trey Songz and Drake but ALL the way Philly. Like top-selling artists Drake and J.Cole, Mont has the ability to switch between rapping and singing fluidly.
